LEVEL II NDT INSPECTOR

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Level 2 Radiographic/Fluorescent Penetrant NDT Inspector to join our team at Pacific Aerodynamic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) using non-film radiographic and fluorescent penetrant techniques to ensure the quality and integrity of aerospace components and structures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct radiographic inspections on aerospace components and structures according to established procedures and standards

  • Interpret and evaluate radiographic images to detect and analyze defects or discontinuities

  • Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of inspection results

  • Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports

  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to address any issues or concerns

  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment

  • Participate in training and certification programs to stay current with industry standards and best practice

 

Requirements:

  • Certification as a Level 2 Radiographic NDT Inspector in accordance with ASNT or NAS-410

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiographic and fluorescent penetrant NDT in the aerospace industry

  • Thorough knowledge of radiographic testing techniques, fluorescent penetrant techniques equipment, and procedures

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze radiographic images

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and priorities

  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check

TECHNICIAN - COMPRESSOR BLADE CLEANER

The role of the Aerospace Technician is crucial in ensuring the optimal functioning and safety of jet engines. The primary responsibility of the Aerospace Technician is to clean and maintain compressor blades. Training will be provided to the candidate to ensure they can efficiently perform the task.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean compressor blades using various cleaning techniques and tools

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures 

• Maintain and organize cleaning equipment and related instruments

• Adhere to strict schedules and deadlines for cleaning and maintenance of compressor blades

• Assist in other related tasks or projects as directed by senior personnel

 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail

• Experience in using various cleaning tools, techniques, and equipment

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Ability to work in tight spaces, elevated heights and able to lift heavy objects.

• Willingness to work in a potentially hazardous environment

• Pre-hire drug test required

• Random Drug Tests during employment required

MACHINE OPERATOR

To thrive as a Machine Operator, you must be eager to learn. You don’t need any previous experience or knowledge , although it’s a bonus. We’ll teach you everything you need to know, which makes this a perfect starting point to launch your career. You’ll cross-train on multiple lines so you are able to assist with any role on any line that needs help.

 

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Operate a CNC or auto welding machine

  • Load components 

  • Assure the quality of the product produced matches requirements 

  • Ensuring that quality, safety, and production standards are met throughout the various operations.

  • Responsible for the preventative maintenance of machinery and tooling

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

  • Troubleshoots issues that arise

  • Partners with Operations Administrator to track progress or changes to production schedules and communicates information to team members as appropriate.

  • Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment used according to company policies and procedures.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Participate in daily production 

 

Experience/Education: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Computer skills required: Word, Excel, etc

  • High attention to detail

  • Fast learner and can grasp concepts quickly

  • Responds promptly to customer needs; Meets commitments

  • Reach forward, up, down and to the side in order to move equipment.
